2026 High Mountain Baohong Green Tea 30g

Baohong tea, historically called Shi Li Xiang Cha (十里香茶) it´s an highest quality green tea of Yunnan province with long history. Back in the Tang dynasty, the original tea tree was bring by monks from Fujian and planted in the area of Baohong temple. This tea is one of the tribute teas, the best teas from Yunnan, sent to the Chinese emperor in old times! The Baohong mountain is about 1600 meters above sea level.

This batch of Baohong tea come from the top area of the mountain. Windy, strong sunshine and strong tea trees. Made by local Yi tribe family. 

You can compare with the early batch of Baohong we offer and study more about this tea. Two different makers, two different villages in Baohong area, different harvest time. 

High mountain Baohong tea is most valuable just from these days after March 20th and harvest continues till Qing Ming festival. Then quality drop down.

Full body, sweet, quite Longjing like, with some tones we really found only in Longjing tea.
