2026 Baizhangyan Charcoal Roasted Shuixian Oolong 40g

Baizhangyan Shuixian is a highly representative tea within the northern Fujian oolong category. It is produced in Baizhang Village, Xiaoqiao Town, Jian’ou City, Fujian Province. Its reputation comes partly from its distinctive high-mountain terroir and partly from the discovery there of an ancient Shuixian tea tree estimated to be more than 1,000 years old.

This tea is an small family production. Old trees 60-70 years, harvested in May 2026. This is the highest quality Shuixian oolong in Baizhangyan. 

Carefully processed and charcoal roasted during summer two times by the family and the final roasting was made during September by local master. Middle -roasted (中轻火)

This tea have some quite unique quality and character so we are very happy to get it. Highest quality Shuixian is selling to Wuyi town!

Dry leaves have strong sweet smell. Rich, woody and floral notes. Very unique long sweet aftertaste which you can rarely meet in other Shuixian oolongs!

For brewing you can use 4gramms and 80/100ml gaiwan or teapot as well as 8 gramms and bigger pot.

100 degrees Celsius water, Wait 5 seconds for the first brew, and allow an additional 5 to 10 seconds the following brews according to personal preference, can pour tea 8 or more times.
