We started our spring tea tour at the Bada mountain. Bada mountain cultivated type ancient tea garden is mainly distributed in the Bulang nationality villages, such as ZhangLang, Manmai, Manpana. And the largest garden is located in Zhanglang, the biggest Bulang nationality village in Xishuangbanna. There is a gleaming Burmese temple (Buddhist temple) in the village. According to the inscription inside records the ZhangLang village has more than 1400 years of history.

The tea trees grows in the depth of forest in more than 1600 metres high mountain. Most of tea trees were not dwarfing and height up to 5 or 6 meters. It's not easy to pick. The green environment creates a soothing forest atmosphere in the flavor while moderate picking brings energy to the tea quality.

Our tea is picked from ancient arbor (70%) and wild arbor trees grow in the wild between March 22 and 25. Two local tea makers know the tea well and have good skills. Hand processing in every step and sun-dried, traditional stone pressed in Yiwu town. Dark long leaves and silver buds are similar with Bulang mountain teas.

Brewed tea is yellow sparkish with specific and original flower/citrus aroma. Powerful but mild, exquisite and full, pleasant bittersweet at the beginning later change to sweet and long lasting aftertaste.
